What is OPB Passport?
OPB Passport is a new member benefit that gives eligible donors and supporters extended access to an on-demand library of quality public television programming online. The OPB Passport library currently offers members more than 1,000 episodes to watch, with new PBS and OPB programs being added weekly. The library features episodes from popular programs like American Experience, American Masters, Antiques Roadshow, Nature, NOVA, and Masterpiece. In addition to these signature series, the library is full of public television’s acclaimed arts, science, history, and lifestyle programs. To see what is available on OPB Passport, look for the blue compass icon next to programs on watch.opb.org.

Who can access OPB Passport?

I want access to OPB Passport!
If you do not currently contribute, please become a member. Members that contribute $5/month or $60/year or more receive instant access to OPB Passport!

Alternatively, you can call OPB’s Member Center at 800-241-8123, but activation may take longer over the phone.

How can I find OPB Passport content?
After activating your OPB Passport account, you can view OPB Passport content on your computer, iPhone and iPad, as well as on the PBS channel on Apple TV. All OPB Passport content is designated by a blue compass icon. All videos displaying that icon are available to OPB Passport members only.

Do I have to activate OPB Passport if I don’t want to?
No. It is up to you to decide whether or not to activate OPB Passport. You can still watch plenty of videos on your computer, smartphone and tablet without it. OPB Passport offers station donors extended on-demand access to a rich library of quality public television programming.

If I do not have OPB Passport, will I still be able to watch programs on watch.opb.org and PBS.org for free?
Yes. Free is not going away. Many of our programs are available for free on various digital platforms including watch.opb.org and PBS.org, our mobile applications, and the PBS channels on Roku, AppleTV and other streaming services. And of course, OPB programs will continue to be broadcast to the public, for free, over the air.
